David Graves

David Graves

David Graves is a pastor at heart, having served in that role in pastoral assignments in Kansas, Ohio, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and North Carolina. He was pastor of College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe, Kansas when elected in 2009 to his present assignment as a general superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene. Prior to College Church, he served as Director of Sunday School Ministries for the Church of the Nazarene from 2001 to 2006. David is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary (MDiv), and received an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Olivet Nazarene University. He is the author of three books and has written for numerous publications. He and his wife, Sharon, have four married children: Michael, John, Stephen, and Rachel, and 12 grandchildren. His parents are Harold and Bettie Graves and, on both sides of the family, he is a fourth-generation Nazarene.

Samantha Chambo

Samantha Chambo

Samantha Chambo is a fervent preacher and teacher of the Word, speaking at various district assemblies and NMI conventions for the Church of the Nazarene. She holds a Master’s in Theology from The University of Manchester where she is also a doctoral student in Biblical Studies (PhD). She previously served as a missionary on the African Region as a teacher at Nazarene Theological College in South Africa, as NMI coordinator, and as Nazarene Women Clergy Coordinator for the region. Prior to this, Samantha served as a co-pastor with her husband, Filimão, at Matola Cidade Church of the Nazarene in Mozambique and as a teacher at Seminario Nazareno em Mozambique. The Chambos have two children: Tsakani, a sophomore at Olivet Nazarene University where she is studying music ministry; and Emanual, a high school student. The Chambos enjoy boardgames, walks in the park, and beach vacations.

John Bowling

John Bowling

John Bowling serves as president of Olivet Nazarene University and is well-known as a speaker, author, and leader. Prior to accepting his current position in 1991, he was senior pastor of College Church of the Nazarene in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Previous to that assignment, he served as senior pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, Dallas, Texas. He has been a member of the faculty at Nazarene Bible College and at Olivet Nazarene University. John holds degrees from Olivet Nazarene University (BA, MA, DD), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MRE, EdD), and Southern Methodist University (DMin). He was also chosen as a Resident Fellow for post-doctoral studies at Harvard University. In addition to his work at Olivet, John is a member of the General Board for the Church of the Nazarene, and previously served that body as its president for a period of 8 years. He has given leadership in numerous other capacities within the denomination and is currently active with a variety of professional organizations and local community affairs. His books include A Way With Words, Grace-full Leadership, Making the Climb, a chronicle of his assent to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, and most recently, ReVision.

Dave Ferguson

Dave Ferguson is founding and lead pastor of Chicago’s Community Christian Church, a missional multi-site community considered one of the most influential churches in America. He also provides visionary leadership for NewThing, an international church-planting movement, and is president of the Exponential Conference. An award-winning author, his books include Finding Your Way Back to God, Starting Over: Your Life Beyond Regrets, and most recently, Hero Maker: Five Essential Practices for Leaders to Multiply Leaders. Dave and his wife, Sue, have three children.

Danielle S

Danielle Strickland

Danielle Strickland is currently based in Toronto, Canada. Her aggressive compassion has served people firsthand in countries all over the world, from establishing Justice Departments for The Salvation Army to launching global anti-trafficking initiatives. With the aim of creating new movements to mobilize people towards transformational living, Danielle trains, advocates, and inspires people to live differently. She is the author of 5 books, her most recent being The Ultimate Exodus: Finding Freedom From What Enslaves You and The Zombie Gospel: The Walking Dead and What it means to be Human. She is host of DJStrickland Podcast, co-founder of Infinitum, Amplify Peace, Brave Global, and Women Speakers Collective. Danielle is a mom of three, wife to @stephencourt, and has been affectionately called the "ambassador of fun".
